As a purchasing category manager at Picadeli you have the commercial responsibility for suppliers within your defined categories. You will develop the category strategy and continuously seek new opportunities within your responsibility. You will lead the procurement process which means that you: set the strategy, define suppliers, publish RFP:s, evaluate offers, conduct negotiations, sign contracts and follow up on supplier performance. You will also be involved in new product development with the aim of finding the best business partners when Picadeli is developing the assortment. You will lead, and participate in, projects related to purchasing support and the ongoing market expansion of the company. You are a key player for improving the overall purchasing processes at Picadeli. Other areas of responsibility include ensuring external and internal compliance with contracts (prices, volume contracts, delivery service levels, payments, product policy, code of conduct etc.) and tracking market changes.
You have experience from commercial purchasing (minimum 3 years), with a degree in a relevant area of studies. You have an inner drive for business and an understanding of total cost. Your communication skills are excellent and you have an analytic mindset. You are fluent in English and team oriented.
